May Bank Holiday

Hello Sunshine! 

Well I'm pretty certain Summer's been switched off again, It was fun whilst it lasted.

I had a pretty good bank holiday weekend for a change. I got a pretty decent tan, and spent 3 days rather drunk. Result. 

This was my first bank holiday that I was able to enjoy, as soon as I clocked off of work on Friday, I skipped out of the building knowing my week coming only consisted of 3 days at work, and a 3 day weekend.

May has gone by rather quickly, it's already the 17th.. where is this year going?? It's horrifying to think, that soon I'll start Christmas shopping.. (I like to be prepared, no judgement please) I'm also always laughing come December because I have no expenses. Ha.

Anyway.. I found the best new camera/filter app for my phone, It makes your pictures look like they are form a disposable, year of '98 which is pretty funky. I've trialed a few now, and this one is a winner. Every picture you take comes out differently to the other, so it's always a surprise. 

Two trails below, which I loved so much, I had to post on instagram. 

I used it everyday now for anything.  

Saturday 5th

Saturday was spent by the river for breakfast with A and my dad. A bit of a send off for my pap before he went on holiday.

Obviously, we hit Wetherspoons, Me and dad tried their breakfast wrap, which was amazing. A, of course had a large full english breakfast (I'd expect nothing less).

Once sent dad off on his journey, we headed up towards the city centre for a walk around the shops and a rest stop near the castle to catch some rays. 

I took some cute picture's of A with my new app, and some with my normal camera so I had a variety. Loved the one that came out with the app, which you can see below.

I went for a super summery outfit seeing as the weather was well on our side.

Sunday Funday and Bank Holiday Monday 

6th May - 7th May 

Self explanatory, I spent 2 days completely relaxed in my back garden. Everyday, I woke up at 8AM, which mean't I could have my morning cup of tea, FaceTime my dad whilst he was away, and set the sun beds up in preparation for my Gal Pal to arrive so we could 

R E L A X 

Over the 2 days, We drank our body wait in Rum, Pimms, Vodka and other various cocktails. 

We went couples bowling Sunday night, Girls V Boys, Me and P smashed the first go (Alcohol apparently up's my game) and after that.. it all went down hill. 

We paid for unlimited bowling, which happens after 7PM on a Sunday, so we laughed and tried to throw our bowling balls in the direction of the pins. 

We then went to spoons, the place to NOT go on a Sunday night apparently, I paid for a pitcher that me nor P drank, we both knew that then.. was the time to stop. It wasn't even late.. but we'd been drinking for 10 hours at that point. 

Miraculously, I woke up Monday feeling fresh and ready to go again.. 

So Me, mum, P and my brother laid there, drank Pimms and dreaded it coming to an end, because that mean't going back to work the following day. 

The best bank holiday, I have had the pleasure of enjoying. 

I now wish to have them all off.. 

Thursday 10th - Nickelback - NEC Birmingham

Woo! A day, I had been counting down too since we booked the tickets. 

I've seen Nickelback before, and I had a blast, it was one of my proper rock concerts with mum when they were on their Dark Horse Tour, so I was rather young, but I got involved with the people at the infant, had beer thrown all over me and saw my first T-shirt gun ( I sadly didn't get one of the t-shirts)

We didn't leave for Birmingham until 12, we stopped to pick my aunty up and then headed in the right direction. 

Took around 3 hours to get to the NEC, hit some traffic the closer we got to Birmingham (Rush hour) but we got their still with plenty of time to have a look around the new outlet Mall thats next door and grab some grub before we go in.

The mall was pretty disappointing, their was a bodyshop, which mum hit hard, I got some goodies - Thanks Mum. 

Because all the shops were outlets, the price was cheaper then normal, so I picked up a Vitamin E Night oil, and a Mango set, which included a hand cream and lip balm. Essential for work! 

Little things keep me happy! 

It's time to Rock and Roll! A got all of us a shandy, which was presented to us in cups bigger then my head. Being designated driver, i had half of my shandy, and passed on the rest of my drink to my mother, who quite frankly enjoyed her own drink, my drink and my aunties! You go girl. 

The countdown finally came on, the lights went off and the entire arena went wild. The feeling you get when that happens is indescribable.  

They are so much fun, literally just some funny guys on a stage with some guitars. 

Every time they stopped, their tour manager would bring them a Jager bomb and cheers the audience.

They even brought us two people from the front to sing with them when they played Rockstar. 

As soon as it was over, I wanted it to start again, me and mum actually looked a buying another ticket for a different night so we could see them again. 

Oh well, until next tour Nickelback! 

It was a blast this go round! 

Saturday Night / Date Night 
12th May

A cooked us, the best meal. It was pretty much a Wagamama's dish.. but better. It's a bonus having a chief for a boyfriend. Winning. 

To finish off our evening, we walked down to our local, had a couple drinks, and played some pool. 

I again, did terribly. 

And Sunday, I spent in bed.. I slept for most of the morning. Cr*p. 
Oh well, I got up feeling sunny side up and ready for the day. A was on a breakfast, so when he got back, we relaxed and then got ready to go to his. This charming man hen took me out for a 2 course meal, and a Melon flavoured Pitcher.

It's been nearly another week.. Its friday, again. I swear it was Monday a second ago. 

I finally get my half sleeve finished tomorrow. 

Then I'm spending my day in the city (Dangerous) with my Pap and Nanny, so we can get her some Birthday bits for her holiday. 

The rest of my weekend will consist of relaxing and getting ready for yet another Monday.
